A thank you note from Cathy Maynard says, “Thanks to all the Sunday School
classes that provided for the church picnic. Without your awesome help, this would
not have been possible. I, for one, had a great time!”

knowledgements expressed to them during the death of their grandson, Micheal Ad-
ams.

Cemetery Committee Meeting - Monday, June 16th at 7:00 pm in the Conference
Room.
Knightdale Business Expo - Tuesday, June 17th from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at
Knightdale High School, 100 Bryan Chalk Lane. KBC will be in booth 13. Come by
and see us! If you would like to help work the Expo, please contact the church office.
Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, June 17th at 7:00 pm in the Conference
Room.
Weathers/Knight WMU Circle - Thursday, June 19th at 10:45 am in the
Conference Room.
Deacon’s Meeting - Monday, June 30th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room.
Bible Study - While Pastor Trent is out Don Morris will be our guest speaker for
Wednesday Night Bible Study June 18th and 25th. Don was our guest speaker on
Easter Sunday. Please come out for Bible Study and give him a warm welcome back.
Operation Christmas Child - KBC is collecting items for the Samaritan’s Purse
shoebox ministry every month. For the month of June we are collecting hygiene
products: toothbrushes, mild soap (in a plastic bag), washcloths, combs, hairbrushes.
The collection boxes are at the bottom of the stairs in the Education Building and in
the hallway at the back of the Sanctuary. Thank you for your contributions!
Food Pantry Sunday - June 29th is Food Pantry Sunday, so don’t forget your food
pantry donations! Supporting our local Food Pantry is an on-going mission project
of the Angelic Ministers. This ministry works best when everyone donates to the
food pantry and then the Angelic Ministers will make arrangements to have the
food delivered to the local pantry. Food collection barrels are located in the
education building for you to place your food donations. Our local food pantry is
very specific in what they give out, so please make sure you purchase only what is
on the list (a grocery list can be found in the vestibule for you to take home), and
please be mindful of expiration dates. They will not accept expired foods.
Town of Knightdale First Annual 4th of July Celebration - At Knightdale
Station Park from 5:30 - 9:15 pm with FIREWORKS. Knightdale Baptist Church
will have a booth with an obstacle course! How can you help? Volunteer at the
booth or help supply bottled water. Help spread the word about KBC! This would
be a great time to have children sign up for VBS and give information about the

VBS Kickoff: July 6th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm
at Knightdale Station Park
God filled the world with a lot of crazy creatures … including you! When kids feel
weird, different, or even lost in a crowd – nothing compares to the extraordinary
love of Jesus. Kids need to know they are loved unconditionally. Today’s kids,
families, relationships are broken. Kids feel like they have to measure up – whether
it’s in sports, music, or school. With the support of this year’s VBS theme, kids will
walk away knowing that “Weird isn’t a bad thing. When you hear it, you think you
are unique and that God created you unique.”
VBS Needs your help! Please prayerfully consider helping this year and using one
of the many gifts God has blessed you with.

Coupons for Military Families - One of our church members is collecting both
expired and current manufacturer's coupons to send to military bases overseas. The
families are able to use expired coupons, as well as current ones, at an installations'
PX/BX (department store) or Commissary (grocery store). Eligible Coupons: 1)
Manufacturer’s coupons only, 2) Current and expired (6 months or less), 3) There is
NO NEED to clip the individual coupons. There is a collection box in the Conference
Room. Please contact Alyssa Mozingo (alyssa.mozingo@gmail.com) for more

worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the
schedule should continue to be handled by the lead
coordinator.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in
children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end
of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship
leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or
adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7
year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to
ensure their safety!
