Operation Christmas Child - For the month of April you can make a monetary
donation. It takes $7.00 to ship each box. Please place your donations in the
offering plate and write OCC in the memo section of your check. Thank you for
your contributions!
BBQ Chicken Fundraiser - Friday, May 30th. Get your tickets to presale from
Brenda Hailey. Also, they need 25 EMPTY and CLEAN gallon size milk or
vinegar containers (with their lids) to store BBQ sauce or tea by May 16th.
Please place the containers in the FLC kitchen.
Backpack Buddies - The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry
KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. It provides children from food-
insecure homes with weekend meals during the school year. We need lots of kid-
friendly non-perishable food items to maintain this ministry (a grocery list can

be found in the vestibule for you to take home). Food collection bins are located in
the Education Building and the vestibule of the Sanctuary. The children and their
respective families greatly appreciate the weekend meals we provide. Thank you
for being a part of this ongoing KBC ministry.
Coupons for Military Families - One of our church members is collecting both
expired and current manufacturer's coupons to send to military bases overseas.
The families are able to use expired coupons, as well as current ones, at an
installations' PX/BX (department store) or Commissary (grocery store). Eligible
Coupons: 1) Manufacturer’s coupons only, 2) Current and expired (6 months or
less), 3) There is NO NEED to clip the individual coupons. There is a collection
box in the Conference Room. Please contact Alyssa Mozingo for more
information. Thank you for helping our soldiers and their families!

Discover the parallels of the Tabernacle’s building and
your life as a chosen vessel of God.
The class will be offered at two different times beginning Friday,
April 25th and Monday, April 28th. The Friday classes will start
at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. The Monday classes
will meet at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall for their first meeting.
An alternative room, if needed, will be discussed at that time. (We
will not meet Memorial Day weekend.) The cost of the book is
$15.95. You may pay for your book in the church office or give
your money to Cathy Maynard prior to April 18th. Sign-up sheets
will be in your classrooms or you can call Cathy Maynard.

so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the
worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the
schedule should continue to be handled by the lead
coordinator.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in
children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end
of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship
leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or
adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7
year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to
ensure their safety!
