2. Building Community.
The MAPIL Auction is an annual event hosted by student members of the Maine
Association for Public Interest Law at the University of Maine School of Law in Portland,
Maine. It is our largest, and most anticipated, event of the year.
All proceeds from the auction go to fund summer fellowships, which enable law students to
provide important public interest legal assistance to the community.
