The document analyzes citations in 5439 master's theses in economics from Kermanshah Razi University in Iran from 2007-2015. It finds that:
1) Books and journals accounted for the majority of citations at 50.14% and 37.69% respectively.
2) Persian references accounted for 54.38% of citations while Latin references were 45.38%.
3) Most references dated from 1997 onward, showing they were generally up-to-date. Persian references were more updated than Latin ones.
4) On average, each thesis contained 65.53 citations.
