 WHAT DO WE NEED
   TO CHANGE?

    Auckland 2013
who am I?
WHY am I talking today?
Who am I talking about ?
GLBTIQ
Wellness - Suicide
Do we need to change?
Holding my own pain,
frustration anger and use it
once more to motivate myself
– my desire for change.
How many more of our family
have to die??

Please remember to love each other, and to love
Ourselves. Take care of our minds, our bodies, without fail
and against all odds know beyond doubt, that
we are all beautiful, amazing beings.
Never forget that is what I lived for.
Take care of your selves you beautiful beings

homo/bi/trans/herm aphobia –
is a ‘cancer’ that kills us..
end the shame the fear the
                 isolation
commitment to human rights
not token
a society that believes
everyone is equal

that lives and breathes this
24/7
This week, we celebrate the
        anniversary of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, which
proclaimed in its first Article, “All
human beings are born free and
equal in dignity and rights.” It bears
repeating: All human beings – not
some, not most, but all. No one gets
to decide who is entitled to human
               rights, and who is not.
care for
value every part of the
rainbow family
in particular
be there for our youth

As a community we need to
care
for ourselves and each other
deal with the
destructive self harming
behaviour in our communities
care
in a coordinated cohesive way
which means dealing with our
own stuff… all of it
Building alliances
Having a shared vision
Deal with this toxic epidemic
of bullying in our schools
They should be safe places
for every one
pupils and staff..

Stop it!
We need to care for
love and value our Rainbow
elders

Is Australia a model to follow?
deal to the violence
outside and inside our
community

kids should be safe
we all should be
every precious one
can we do this?
Can we afford not to

we are reaching critical mass
now is the time

no more wasted deaths
no wasted empty lives
realising the sum of all our
potential..
