This document provides instructions for forming affirmative and negative commands in Spanish (los mandatos). It explains that affirmative tú commands use the él/ella form of the verb, while negative tú commands use the usted form with "s" added and "no" before the verb. Usted commands are formed by conjugating the verb to the yo form and changing the ending. A chart is then provided showing how to conjugate common verbs into the various command forms.

1. Los Mandatos
l To create regular affirmative tú commands the él/ella (third person singular)
form of the verb is used.
l To create regular negative tú commands you must put the verb in the usted
command form and add an s at the end of the verb and a no in front of the verb.
l To create usted commands you need to conjugate the verb in the present yo
form and then replace the o with a vowel change. AR verbs go to e/n and ER
and IR go to a/n.
