o To replace the use of mouse and keyboard, pressing
buttons and turning scroll, and help people who has a
weakness, like to speak and communicate with others
people . where multi-touch gesture is easier to use than
commands. Minimize clutter with portable device Such
as the Android operating systems for smartphones has
support for multi-touch.
o Users can manage emails, contacts, calendars and hold
virtual meetings through a built-in webcam and
microphone.
Whataretheadvantagesanddisadvantagesof
amulti-touchinterface?How usefulisit?Explain.
ADVANTAGES
 It’s able to manipulate object in screen with
flexibility
 It is very simple to use when you want to
control just by your fingers.
 Based on ingrained human movements
DISADVANTAGES
 Smaller touch screen, less easier for people to used
it
 prices of f such devices also too high at the
beginning as it is for every new emerging

pools of transactions or social media data that
require more and more power-hungry machines
businesses.
Besides that, the social problem that the data
center power consumption cause is high corporate
operating costs.
What solutionsare available for these problems?
Which are environmentallyfriendly?
Many companies are initiating power consumption me
thods to not only save the environment, as well as to s
ave money.
Google and Microsoft are building data centers
that take advantage of hydroelectric power
Hewlett Packard
is working on a series of technologies to reduce the
carbon footprint of data centers, with new
software and services, to measure energy use
and carbon emissions.
There is also a “free cooling” process where cold air is
inducted from outside during the winter months to c
ool server cabinets.
LCD lighting is another energy
saving method to help minimize cooling costs, as well
as UPS battery systems

Installed motion sensors will shut off light after five
minutes if no movement is detected. This enable firm
greatly reduce the power required to run workstation.
Reduce corporate operating costs

setting of computer as the conditions change.
intelligent cooling system helps the firm to save the
electric supply and thus, reduce the operating costs.
