WHAT IS STRESS?
Stress is any uncomfortable "emotional experience accompanied
by predictable biochemical, physiological and behavioral
changes. An extreme amount of stress can have health
consequences and adversely affect the immune, cardiovascular,
neuroendocrine and central nervous systems. Untreated chronic
stress can result in serious health conditions including anxiety,
insomnia, muscle pain, high blood pressure and a weakened
immune system. Stress can also contribute to the development

ANXIETY Anxiety disorders such as panic disorder and obsessive
compulsive disorder (OCD) cause recurring intrusive thoughts or
concerns and physical symptoms such as sweating, trembling,

for physical and as well as mental illness.
Poor sleep is a risk factor for anxiety, depression/suicide and
substance abuse. Lack of sleep leads to overall decline of body
