Mammals
Mammals are a group of the animals that nourish their
newborn young with milk produced by special glands, the
breasts. They are the most advanced group of animals, as
they have large brain size, developed nervous system and
increased intelligence. Their ancestor was a kind of reptile
who lived before 155 million years.

• Aquatic mammals are the whale, the
seal, the dolphin, the blower, the
porpoise, the Cuvier's beaked whales.
HABITAT
• Mammals live in every region of the Earth and
in different ecosystems.
DIET
• Mammals classified according to their type of food to
herbivores, feeding on plants in carnivores, feeding on other
animals, and omnivores, feeding both plants and other
animals.
