Philip Kotler (born May 27, 1931) is an American marketing author, consultant, and professor emeritus; the S. C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (1962–2018). He is known for popularizing the definition of marketing mix. He is the author of over 80 books, including Marketing Management, Principles of Marketing, Kotler on Marketing, Marketing Insights from A to Z, Marketing 4.0, Marketing Places, Marketing of Nations, Chaotics, Market Your Way to Growth, Winning Global Markets, Strategic Marketing for Health Care Organizations, Social Marketing, Social Media Marketing, My Adventures in Marketing, Up and Out of Poverty, and Winning at Innovation. Kotler describes strategic marketing as serving as "the link between society's needs and its pattern of industrial response."

The Global Youth Conference 2014 theme, “Inspiring Global Leaders of Tomorrow” is a timely and strategic platform to prepare our young minds to kick-start their journey as future leaders in the global community.
Essentially, the two and a half-day conference is tailor-made as an avenue for like-minded student leaders to participate in a series of forums, talks and dialogues that will enhance their readiness to join the global market as productive contributors.
Student leaders from universities across Malaysia can look forward to being equipped with relevant skills and aptitudes, particularly in the areas of leadership, global entrepreneurship and youth volunteerism.
Experienced speakers and innovators are invited to share their expertise to broaden the students’ spectrum in becoming versatile leaders of the global market. At the same time, the Conference provides unique opportunities for students to establish global connections for knowledge sharing and networking.
This conference is organised by the International Student Services of Taylor’s University with the support of Student Affairs and Development Division of the Ministry of Education Malaysia and Secretariat HEP-IPTS.
Session I: Piyapa su-angavatin - SEAMO's Priorities on Education for Southeas...OECD CFE
The OECD’s Regional Policy Network on Education and Skills aims to foster knowledge exchange in support of national growth and regional integration. The Network encourages a whole-of-government approach to formulating and implementing sound skills policies. It draws on the growing participation by Southeast Asian countries in the OECD’s education surveys and local job creation policy reviews, which provide valuable comparative data and analysis that can help countries in the region build more efficient and effective employment and skills systems.

The 2024 World Health Statistics edition reviews more than 50 health-related indicators from the Sustainable Development Goals and WHO’s Thirteenth General Programme of Work. It also highlights the findings from the Global health estimates 2021, notably the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on life expectancy and healthy life expectancy.
This session provides a comprehensive overview of the latest updates to the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (commonly known as the Uniform Guidance) outlined in the 2 CFR 200.
With a focus on the 2024 revisions issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), participants will gain insight into the key changes affecting federal grant recipients. The session will delve into critical regulatory updates, providing attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate and comply with the evolving landscape of federal grant management.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the rationale behind the 2024 updates to the Uniform Guidance outlined in 2 CFR 200, and their implications for federal grant recipients.
