■ It is the form of cell injury which results in the premature
death of cells in living tissue by autolysis.

14. Interveinal Chlorosis
■ Interveinal chlorosis is a yellowing of the leaves
between the veins with the veins remaining green.
In plants with strap-like leaves such as the rice this
results in a striped effect. While there are several
possible causes, this symptom frequently
indicates a nutritional imbalance.

all the leaves at a similar height.
Though rosettes usually sit near the soil, their
structure is an example of a modified stem.
