Two cars race on a highway in the future where old technology is banned. The race ends with one driver shooting the other, revealing a personal vendetta. Music will include tracks by Motorhead and Johnny Cash, with an original drum and bass piece. The film will be edited in Final Cut Pro X with credits and sound effects added.

1. OVERALL PLOT:
Two cars are racing at the new road south of corby ( the A43).
Its twenty years in the future and people have locked up all old technology pre
nuclear shut down. In the nuclear shut down most modern technology including
cars planes and all electricals stopped working. In 2020 all governments banned
all cars over 3 years old to keep the ozone clear. Because of this people have
taken to illegal street races with ‘old cars’ for “underground” sport.
It starts with 4 people in a street race hopefully at night. There is two cars each
with two people. In car number one there will be two people who are shown as
the good guys. This will be done because of interaction with the characters and
car number two will only be seen briefly. Whilst all of this is happening there
will be captions showing directors names and editing software used.
Throughout all of this Ace of spades by Motor Head can be heard playing.
Eventually car number one will pass the finish line quickly followed by car
number two. The camera will then cut and there will be audio from car number
one playing. This will be diegetic sound as it’s the actors talking however you
can’t see them speaking. The cars will then make their way to Morrison’s car
park where there will be a bunch of people cheering and dancing to a drum ‘n’
bass track I will create. This is where the actors from car one will go to see the
people from car two. As the driver gets out he says in a dark hidden voice “This
is for my father”. The main good guy leans in and says “ huh” as if he didn’t
hear what the driver said. A gun is revealed only to the camera and a gunshot is
heard. The main good guy then falls to the floor and the secondary good guys
then leans over him and calls for help. The camera goes all hazy and blurred as
it fades to black. The name of the film is then revealed via editing as hurt by
Johnny Cash starts to play.

There will be 3 songs used that will be used.
Ace Of Spades by Motor Head
Hurt by Johnny Cash
And an unknown drum ‘n’ bass track I will make using fruit loops on a regular
pc.
I will record all the songs that are used in this film to avoid all copy right issues.

2. As for the sound that is Diegetic it will mainly be car screeches if possible and
people talking about the race or woo’s and regular dance noises. There will also
be cheering for when the cars reach the finish line.
Editing:
For the editing I will be using Final Cut Pro X because there is a wider range of
effects and I used it for my Preliminary task so I am familiar with the layout and
how to use it.
The only things I will be editing is shot length, sound (both types), and the
credits.
For the shot length it will mainly be cropping the footage and making it fit for
the film.
For the sound I will put on the non-diegetic sound and putting the actors voices
over the top of the footage.
Actors/Helpers/Musicians/Directors:
Nemanja Maslic will be the Main good guy. He will be the character that
appears as if he is driving the car and he will be the character that gets shot.
Luke Collins is the Main bad guy and the driver for the second car. He is the
character that shoots Nemanja.
Glen Taylor is the adult who will actually be driving the First car that has the
good guys in. He will be using an Audi A4 Sport.
Oscar Hawkley Is the secondary bad guy who acts as an adviser for Luke. He is
only in the film for a matter of seconds.
Daniel is the secondary good guy who will be the adviser and friend for
Nemanja. He is often seen with Nemanja and is in the same car.
Georgia Hart is going to be the main Guitarist and vocalist for the songs.
Oscar Hawkley will be the secondary guitarist.
Eidil Irvine is the Bassist for all music pieces.
Zoe is the pianist for Hurt by Johnny Cash.
Cameron Hendry is the secondary director for the film.
Alex Rayner is the Primary director and drummer for the music pieces. I will
also be creating the drum ‘n’ bass track.

3. Ian Mclees will be the Secondary Driver.
Software used:
Final Cut Pro X ( 10 ) will be used to make the film and do all the editing on. I
Chose this software because I have used it in the past and it’s fairly easy to use.
Fruit loops will be used to create the Drum ‘n’ Bass track because I have used it
before and I already have it downloaded.
Garage band will be used to record all the music and edit all the sounds to make
it clear and easy to listen to.
