They are one of the biggest metal bands in India. Demonic Resurrection blends the genres of Death, Black and
Power Metal to create a genre that they call 'Demonic Metal'. The band has been around for almost a decade and

Darkness Descends' an EP titled 'Beyond The Darkness‘ and in Jan 2010 the final part to their darkness trilogy
‘The Return To Darkness’. They recently signed a worldwide distribution deal with Candlelight Records.

 In April 2010, DR signed with Candlelight Records for the worldwide release of ‘The Return to
Darkness’.
 For the first time in the history of Indian metal, performed at the prestigious Inferno Festival, Norway
in April and will play at Brutal Assault Festival, Czech Republic in August 2010.
 Awarded artist of the year by Toto Funds the Arts foundation in 2006.
 Headlined every major Indian festival between 08-10, played to packed audiences.
 Is the only Indian band available on the biggest metal labels like Century Media and The End Records
along with a large number of other distros over the world
 Opened for Opeth in IIT Chennai 2009. Supported Amon Amarth and Textures at Deccan Rock

Sepultura & In Flames.
 Mephisto and Viru nominated by Rolling Stone Jack Daniel’s Rock Awards for Keyboardist of the
year and Drummer of the year 2008. Demonstealer was nominated for Producer of the year .
 The first Indian metal band to have their video aired on VH1. The video was also top
viewed/rated/commented video on youtube (India).
 Demonstealer and Husain are endorsed by ESP guitars. Viru is endorsed by Mapex drums and Ziljian
cymbals.
