Mr. Mahdi Kleibo holds two Master degrees in Public Relations and
Business Administration from The Hague University for Applied
Sciences - Netherlands. His background is in private sector
development, institutional strengthening and capacity building with
over sixteen years of professional experience that ranges from
advanced management to capacity development with Palestinian
Micro Small to Medium Enterprises.
Since 2012, Mr Kleibo started working with Bethlehem University as
part-time business lecturer. Following year he signed a contract with
the Academic Office to be the External Academic Relations
Representative operating under the auspices of the office of the Vice
President for Academic Affairs. Assigned mission is to strengthen
marketing and communications program, raise public awareness of
the University's accomplishments via conducting the academic
enrolment, scholarship programs, career development and
international communications.
As a Lecturer at Bethlehem University, Mr Kleibo specializes in
teaching general business courses. On top of his academic career,
he dedicated his efforts towards specializing in teaching “Human
Resources” where he mastered this area via customized the material
to match with real labor market forces.
Mr Kleibo works with several local and international partners from the
private, public and governmental sector on Freelance Training and

How and where would I add value to your academia?
It is very challenging question to sample my best performance in an introduction. Accordingly, let
me start by introducing myself, highlight my best qualities and reflecting what currently I have
successfully accomplished.
My background is in institutional strengthening and capacity building entrepreneurship Specialist.
I am qualified to demonstrate institutional strengthening and capacity building programs through
supporting micro, small and medium size Palestinian enterprises.
I have over sixteen years professional experience that ranges from advanced management to
capacity development with focus on fostering social integration, empowerment, and inclusion of
key excluded groups of the society.
Covered diversity of governmental and nongovernmental organizations that have enhanced my
management interaction with the community that provided me with enough space to script,
implement and introduce quality assurance backup to different programs.
I am empowered as well as a good team builder with positive constructive interpersonal skills. I
would take part of the organization’s vision with pride and commitment, devoting myself to
responsibilities and tasks given.
I teach business courses at Bethlehem University with special focus on developing young leaders
of tomorrow. I aim to enhance and reinforce the potential of teaching business courses outcomes
in the development of employability in Palestine via adopting entrepreneurial mind-set.
This takes place via structuring the dialogue among academic and nonacademic staff, career
officers and incubators staff with direct beneficiaries from students and alumni. My plan for the
academic year 2017/2018 is to set a scheme that influences decision makers to accredit modern
teaching mythologies that should magnify students’ abilities towards local and international labor
enterprises command, demands and expectations.
Objectives:
 Establish internal entrepreneurial learning at the University with solid platform for the
identification and exchange of good practices.
 Promote the start of practical entrepreneurial experiences in education, training and youth
work initiatives in relevance to the Palestinian labor market.
 Strengthen co-operation among Erasmus+ and International Academic entities as part of
bridging business entrepreneurship in support of modernization accessibility and
internationalization, as well foster regional integration and cooperation across different
regions of the world through joint initiatives, sharing of good practices and cooperation.
Currently, under the umbrella of Bethlehem University (BU) Academic Office, I conduct orientation
training sessions under the title “University Academic Choices for High School Students” and
“Positioning Career Development & Academic Advancement for BU Alumni, Academic Crew and
Employees”. University goal is basically focused towards segmenting audience in the aim of
empowering with searching skills such as CV writing, interview techniques, communication skills,
IT skills, self-employment and scholarship trailing.
