Edward Leedskalnin was a Latvian immigrant who built Coral Castle in Florida alone using unknown methods related to magnetism and electricity. He conducted experiments with magnetic currents, including bending an iron bar into a U-shape and winding copper coils around it connected to a battery. When connected to the battery, the iron bar becomes a magnet and attracts other iron. Even after disconnecting the battery, a magnetic current continues inside the circle, as demonstrated by connecting it to a light bulb that lights briefly when the coils are disconnected. This experiment shows that magnets started in an orbital motion will continue indefinitely.
