Magic Retail Software Requirements and Specifications
A. Master module.
Color, size, brand, category, department, Dealer/Distributor, Item, Product, Supplier these are the sub
modules of this ‘master module’.
1. In color sub modules user can add, edit, and delete color and these colors are required at the time of
adding new item.
2. In size sub modules user can add, edit, and delete size and these sizes are required at the time of adding
new item.
3. In brand sub modules user can add, edit, and delete brand and these brands are required at the time of
adding new product.
4. In category sub modules user can add, edit, and delete category and these categories are required at the
time of adding new product.
5. In department sub modules user can add, edit, and delete department and these departments are
required at the time of adding new product.
6. In the company section User can see the company details under which the user has logged in.
7. In the dealer and distributor section user can add new dealer/ distributor who are required at the time
of creating new corporate bill.
8. In the item section user can add new items under any specific product and after selecting its color and
size. The user also needs to enter items pricing details which will directly affect at the time of selling the
product. The user can also edit and delete existing items from here.
9. In the product section user can add new product selecting its supplier category and department. The
user can also edit and delete existing products from here.
10. In the supplier section user can add, edit and delete supplier details.
11. User can set a flat discount on every item individually from discount master.
B. Inventory module
Purchase, purchase return, label print, goods in, goods out, material transfer are the sub modules of this
‘Inventory module’.
1. In the purchase section user can see previous purchase details and can also export that into ‘excel’ .From
here the user can also add new purchase details.
2. In the purchase return section the user can return any previous purchased products after selecting the
supplier and scanning the products barcodes and from here the user can see previous purchased
returned products.
3. In the label print section the user can print the barcode of purchased products (if not barcode exists
previously) against any specific purchase.
4. In the goods out section to transfer goods from currently logged in branch to other branch the user
needs to select the branch where the products are required to be sent and then need to scan the
barcode of the products which needed to be sent. Then just has to submit that.
The receiver branch automatically can see that from that branch’s goods in section as pending goods in
request. The receiver branch’s user just needs to accept that request or reject that. After accepting the
goods in request those items will be added with that receiver branch’s inventory and will be removed
from the sender branch’s inventory. But if the user rejects that request then those products will come
back to the sender branch’s inventory.

5. From material transfer request page the logged in branch can send request of items to any branch and
depending on that the requested branch can goods out (if feasible) those requested products to that
branch.
C. Sales Module
POS bill, sale return, sales order, print invoice, print return invoice, corporate bill are the sub modules of this
‘sales module’.
1. From Pos Bill the user just needs to manually select products or just has to scan the barcode to select a
product to sell. From here the user can see an items selling price can give the user discount on any
specific product or on total bill amount.
2. From sales return the user needs to enter the invoice number against which the product will be returned
back. After entering the invoice number the user needs to scan the items barcode which needed to be
taken back.
3. From the sales order section the user needs to select the customer and then needs to select order date
and delivery date. After that selecting products and submitting that sales order will be generated and
those all previously generated order can be seen from this same page according to order status (In
process, delivered, pending, and delivered).
4. From print invoice section the user can print previously generated invoices.
5. From print return invoice section the user can print previously generated sales return invoices.
6. From the corporate bill section the user needs to select the customer first then has to fill other bill
details. After that the user needs to scan barcode of items and if needed then has to add tax and
discount and then just has to submit that.
D. Utility Module
Opening stock, receipt, payment is the sub modules of this ‘utility module’.
1. In the opening stock section the user can add products which are already present before using the
software to the software inventory.
2. From receipt section the user can enter the money transaction details which are coming in. Like
Corporate Sale, Goods out etc.
3. From payment section the user can enter the money transaction details which are going out. Like Goods
in, Purchase, Salary, Expenses etc.
E. Tools module
Calculator, recycle bin is the sub modules of this ‘tools module’.
1. By clicking on the popup calculator a calculator will open.
2. From Recycle bin the user can see all the previously deleted items, products, color, size etc. and from
here if the user recycles any deleted thing that will again comes to its previous status.
3. Now admin have a power to backup their application Database by single click on Backup.
4. Every user can connected with each other using Chat Box Tool.

F. Account Module
Ledger accounts, other expenses, cash book, bank book are the sub modules of this ‘account module’.
1. From ledger user can edit or delete ledger accounts which are created manually from this page or
created automatically at the time of supplier, dealer and distributor entry.
2. From other expenses the user can see and add other expenses details.
3. From cash book the user can see previously entered cash book details within a specified date range.
4. From bank book the user can see previously entered bank book details within a specified date range.
G. Report Module
Inventory, sales, dashboard are the main sub modules of this ‘report module’.
1. Within inventory report the user can see stock, damage, reorder reports.
2. Within sales the user can see sales MIS and customer wise report.
