-Propose practices to enhance leadership and self-efficacy as an English teacher based on local realities in the rural or urban educational context.
-Recognize challenges in the rural or urban educational context that may become opportunities for strengthening the teaching of English to students

In my school, We have been facing two
challenges:
1.The decrease in English class hours in
the eight grades, which has meant less
time in the classroom and with our
students.
2- The lack of motivation of the students
to learn English.
We have worked hard to change this, but
now with the pandemic we face this
challenge again and we have had many
problems to motivate them since we don’t
have enough time to spend with them.
How can we motivate them and show
them the need to learn a new language?
And How can we find the best strategies
and tools to connect our subject with other
in the curriculum?.
We are teacher-leaders and we could
overcome our challenges by coordinating
with the English Teachers in my school,
as well as with the Entrepreneurship
teacher of with the following strategies:
1. Mainstream the Module 4, Units 1,2,3
of the book Way to go! 8 with the
entrepreneurship teacher as part of
his study program.
2. Create the best strategy as a
interdisciplinary team to guide my
colleagues and ourselves to show
self-efficacy.
3. Look for technological tools to
encourage the students
We have decided to take action today by
creating a strategic action plan to support
students with my colleagues , as a
interdisciplinary team, where we can
create a self-study guide with different
topics common to both subjects. We can
implement it and improve it in the next
weeks.
We hope that through these actions we
can encourage and motivate our students
and help them to discover the need of
learning English despite the pandemic.
