The San Rafael National High School has adopted a Reading Across the Curriculum (RAC) program to improve students' reading literacy across all subject areas. As part of this program, teachers will drop everything for a 15-minute reading session at the start of each class using short readings prepared by different subject departments. From November 21-27, the school will conduct RAC activities where every teacher will read with their students and discuss the content in a light, fun way. The goal of this multidisciplinary reading approach is to not only improve students' understanding of class material but also boost their overall reading abilities.
