2. Project
Overview
Key differentiation of AIESEC projects
AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-driven organization, and an international platform for
young people to discover and develop their potential while making a positive impact on
the society.
AIESEC projects are well-known for having the involvement of volunteers coming from
many different countries, with the purpose of exchanging knowledge, and allowing our
stakeholder to experience cultural diversity. With this spirit, our projects is called Project
based on Exchange (PboX)
“Living with HIV/AIDS” project
The project was started in Vietnam in 2008, as part of the Global Clinton Initiative to
educate one million individuals globally about the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
During the last 2 years, with the support from both the corporate as well as non-corporate
sector, Living with HIV/AIDS project has made substantial positive impact on the society
by increasing HIV/AIDS knowledge of Vietnam youths
“Though “Living with HIV/AIDS” project, we have
developed a highly effective workplace HIV education
programme, which has been rolled out to all our
employees. We are proud that AIESEC has teamed up
with us and educated 300,000 adults, an age-group
significantly impacted by HIV, and who represent
tomorrow’s leaders.”

Procedure
We organized workshops aimed to educate students about knowledge on HIV/AIDS
through these 5 topics:

2. What are HIV and AIDS?
3. The spread of HIV
4. Preventions to HIV

HCM City and Discrimination issues)
We bring knowledge to young people from the perspectives of young people
ourselves. Our 6 international interns delivered the speeches in the most youthful,
energetic and cheerful way, which created a great impression and impact on the
students participated in our workshops.
Besides, we also conducted several interactive activities and games throughout
the workshop, including: Shaking hands game, Quizzes about HIV, etc.
Remarkably, we carried out the condom demonstration and got the involvement of
many students.

our workshops.
We organized tours around the orphanage of HIV-
positive children in order to bring the clearest
image of the children’s life to students.
The trips also included some activities to create the
connection between students and HIV-positive
children. These include: paintings, shaping clays,
outdoor games, etc.
