Trainer to demonstrate how to use the Microsofts Lists application.
Open lists – office.com/ navigate to the Lists app
Explain that lists can be created from existing templates, from existing Excel spreadsheets or blank
For the demo, the “Work progress tracker” is a good template to use.
Explain how to add content to lists (Note: edit in grid format can be used to quickly add data to the records. Data can also be automatically inputted from existing spreadsheets that are saved online in ONeDrive or SharePoint.)
From the List that we created, head to Integrations Power Apps
Demonstrate how to create a simple, no code app from the list
Show how to test the app (Play button top right) and some basic editing tools (click on text, colours, etc. To adjust fonts, styles, colours, etc.)
Explain that PowerApps can be used to aid the process with inputting and accessing data on mobile devices and within MS Teams. Great for mobile team members that are out delivering services and engaging with clients.
From the list that we created earlier head to “Integrate” Power Automate
Create a new automation and explain that there is a vast list of automations that can be utilized ,
No need to demonstrate as it is an extra subscription feature.
