This document discusses stress management in the workplace, particularly for IT/ITES professionals. It summarizes the results of a survey of 430 professionals which found that awareness of long-term stress is low, even among IT professionals who face higher stress levels. The survey also found that "people" or interpersonal conflicts are the biggest stressor identified, followed by long commutes/hours and mental stress from work. A case study is presented of a man who developed diabetes at age 35 due to lifestyle and job stress. Different personality types are also discussed in relation to stress vulnerability.
