The Louisiana Rotary Club document discusses plans to increase tourism and revenue for local businesses. It outlines two main strategies: 1) attracting tour buses through targeted campaigns and creating tour itineraries, and 2) hosting a variety of community events throughout the year, with a goal of an event each week. Specific upcoming events mentioned include Winter Wonderland, Country Colorfest, and 4th of July celebrations. The director hopes these initiatives will fill the calendar with activities, increase visitor numbers and spending, and boost local business revenue and sales tax.
