• Promote collaborations between teachers, instructional coach, and Media
Specialist to facilitate meaningful literacy and research experiences.

2A Objective: Media Specialist will promote collaborative planning and resource sharing
between the instructional coach and teachers with the media specialist. Collaborative planning
will encourage the inclusion of library resource use in lesson plans.
Activity 1: Grade level meetings to include media specialist and instructional coach. During
weekly collaborative meetings media specialist will discuss resources available in media center
that align with current unit standards. Instructional coach will guide implementation of media
resources into lessons based on needs per data. Teachers are encouraged to introduce to
students and use with students resources available in the media center.
11. Goal 2
Activity 2: Media Specialist will co-teach teachers with teachers to give students
knowledge of media center services and basic research procedures.
Evaluation1: Lesson plans to document inclusion of media center resources in
student activity and information literacy skills are embedded within the lessons.
Evaluation 2: Surveys using Google Docs to collect feedback about usefulness
of media services and research resources to complete assignments.

• Evaluation 3: Minutes of meetings to report agenda and outcomes of
collaborative planning meetings with teachers, instructional coach, and media
center.
