Why?
Medium close-up Shot type- This is
because it is the required shot type for
the front cover of a magazine.
I will need Malachi to be wearing stylish
and trendy clothes associated with the
genre of R&B, they will perhaps need a
flat cap and possibly a gold chain as
fitting with the genre.
The lighting will be Low Key, except for
(potentially) a spotlight on the person
themselves as to show the importance
of the person who is on the cover and
create more of a star appeal as the
attention is brought to them.
The person will preferably be an African
American male however if this is not
possible a white male (not pasty white)
would be acceptable. The african
american male is best suited as many of
the more popular artists of the genre
The shot type for my contents page
main image will be a mid shot. This is
because it gives it variety from the front
cover image and allows the reader to
see more of what the person is wearing
and what they look like which is
important to social climbers weho are
my prime target audience. The props
and equipment will be very similar to
the front cover, however I will change
the shirt and possibly remove or put on
a hat depending on whether they are
wearing one for the front cover image.
The lighting will be bright so that the
person will stand out and they will also
be standing against a white background
to make editing an easier task for me.
The costume will be the same as it was
for the cover image however, like I
previously stated, I will change their top

be on their clothing and any jewllery
and headwear that may be being worn.

it look more professional and less

main article in my magazine and
repeating their image creates more of a
star appeal for them as well as stating
