My magazine featured indoor and outdoor pictures taken at school. Indoor shots used professional studio equipment and backdrops to look professional. Outdoor shots portrayed the artist in different locations like police cells or council estates by shooting at angles that made the field look like somewhere else. Pictures were also taken in black and white during snowy weather to make the areas look more dangerous and stand out more.

Location, Location, Location • My magazine contained a variety of locations for the pictures I took which included inside and outside shots. • For the inside shots I took advantage of the schools studio equipment such as the professional lighting equipment and background to get the most professional looking shots possible to ensure that my magazine looked professional and not like its been made on paint. For my pictures I focussed on facial expressions and body language to portray my artist therefore used minimal props only real on was a chair and base speaker for him to sit on. • For my outside shoot I used various parts of the field to shoot my artist but shot them at an angle that it would look like he was somewhere else for example I took pictures from outside with my artist inside to represent police cells, also used the houses behind the field to give the impression that he is in a council estate. • I decided before my photo shoot to take advantage of the snowy weather and but the pictures in black and white so the area looked more dangerous and stood out more.
