8. To take full advantage of the unique Yunnan
geographical advantages, advantages of climate, rich
in species biodiversity
To build the competitive green brand of agricultural
products
To enhance the power of agricultural modernization
in Yunnan with plateau characteristics

advantage with poverty accompanying
The development of the use of biological diversity
of ecological agriculture will remove poverty and
increase livelihood for local people

13. Fusarium wilt (TR4) is one of the most crucial
factors which affect China banana industry
and the stability of agricultural ecosystem
In 2013 the direct
economic losses
reached 750 million
Yuan in China, 250
million Yuan losses
at Yunnan.

19. Yunnan Province has made the strategic plan to develop
"manor economy" .
The modern "manor economy" as an important mode of
development is to promote the development and changes
of Yunnan plateau characteristics of agriculture, and plans
to build 100 provincial agricultural estate in2017.
In the development of the plateau characteristics of
agriculture in Yunnan, our efforts is to explore various
forms of agriculture modernization, and constantly open
up the capital and farmers for win-win cooperation as
"Yunnan map."

20. Technology support and policy adviser
YAAS undertakes responsibilities of regional
agricultural development goals of the nation, and
overall, key, strategic research tasks of the province.
YAAS has made significant contributions to the
sustainable development of agriculture and rural
economy in Yunnan province.
With “One Belt and One Road” policy in China, it
makes Yunnan to be more important and better player
linking to the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and
southern Asia countries.
