• An effective operational model combines advice, inputs
and associated services, which can make a significant
difference in such knowledge service
• Institutional attachment, interest of local drivers, type of
local ownership (public ownership, with management
committee, e.g. a school, a local council, CBO, etc.) is very
important to sustain such operational model
• Bad experiences with NGOs (use it for their own purposes,
not for the interest of the community members)
• Internet connectivity and uninterrupted power supply are
important for running such center
• Knowledge service in such Knowledge Centre need to be
specially designed considering ICT application and
suitability in the ground not too sophisticated! Not ultra
modern!
