Community action helps build community by sharing
community members' knowledge, skills and ideas.

ACTION
1.) Community Engagement
refers to the process of developing partnerships and
sustaining relationships with and through groups
affiliated by:
geographic proximity, special interest and
purpose of working for common good.
Examples:
participating in sports
project.
volunteering at animal
shelter or homeless
shelter.
voting in local
elections.
Goals of Community Engagement:
1.) To build trust.
2.) To enlist new resources and allies.
3.) To create better communication
4.) To improve overall health outcomes as successful
projects, evolve into lasting collaboration.
2.) Solidarity
a unity of agreement of feeling or action.
it is a bond that unites the community member to
engange and participate in the community with
same interest.
Solidarity is a recognition that we are ''all in this
together"
3.) Citizenship
legal status defined by civil, political and social
rights.
moral obligations with our community to build a
peaceful and humane society.
