2. E-LEARNING
E-learning is a computer based educational tool or system that enables you to learn anywhere
and at any time.
Today e-learning is mostly delivered though the internet, although in the past it was delivered
using a blend of computer-based methods like CD-ROM
E-learning offers the ability to share material in all kinds of formats such as videos, slideshows,
word documents and PDFs.
Conducting webinars (live online classes) and communicating with professors via chat and
message forums is also an option available to users.
3. LMS – LEARNING MANAGEMENT
LMS stands for Learning Management System and it's a global term for a computer system
specifically developed for managing online courses, distributing course materials and allowing
collaboration between students and teachers.
A LMS will allow you to manage every aspect of a course, from the registration of students to
the storing of test results, as well as allowing you to accept assignments digitally and keep in
touch with your students.
In essence, the LMS is the backbone of most e-learning activities
5. MOODLE
Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a
single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments.
Moodle is a open source software

6. LAMP
LAMP is an open source web development platform that uses Linux as the operating system, Apache as
the web server, MySQL as the relational database management system and PHP as the object oriented
scripting language. Sometimes Perl or Python is used instead of PHP.
For installation of moodle lms software, first of all I installed LAMP server

This Learning Management System for TNAU provides immense knowledge about Agriculture
and related fields who are all keen on learning new courses.
The Learner’s need network connectivity and involvement as it is free of cost.
Since e-learning paves a new way in future, Our University will add up courses in Agriculture,
Horticulture, Agricultural engineering and their related fields.
