This document summarizes a study on the lived experiences of learners with special educational needs at Janiuay National Comprehensive High School in Iloilo, Philippines. It provides background information on special education and outlines the research questions, significance, scope, and methodology of the study. The study uses a qualitative case study approach, collecting data through interviews of 5 students with special needs. The data analysis follows thematic analysis to code, categorize, and identify themes in the interview transcripts. The goal is to understand the experiences and challenges faced by learners with special educational needs at this school.
