1.1 Background of the Study
Special Education needs is legal definition and refers to children with learning
problems or disabilities that make it harder for them to learn that most children the
same age.(children with special Education needs,2015)
Student with special need which uses individually planned and systematically
monitored teaching procedures special Education,or special needs education, is the
practice of educating student with special needs in the way that address their
individual differences and needs.Studends with special needs such as learning
different mental health issues, specific disabilities (physical or developmental )and
giftedness,are those whose needs are adressed within the classroom setting. However,
generally the special education refers specifically to students with learning
disabilities,mental conditions and other disabling conditions (World ,2014)
Many students with special needs have challenges with independent learning.They
often need specialized instruction and more scaffolded support,such as having tasks
broken down from them into more manageable chunks, visual aids, and frequent
check ins to ensure they are on the right track (Abbas ,2022)
The office of special education programs (OSEP) in the us is committed to
enhancing outcomes to children and youth with disabilities,ages O through 21,by
offering direction and financial support to help state and local district.us individuals
with disabilities Education act (IDEA) authorizes formula grants to states, and
discretionary grants institution of higher Education and non profit organization to
support research, demonstration, technical assistance of learners with special
education needs (LGENs)are carefully studied and given a special attention.with the
implementation of it's 12 years basic education program,the country has a goal in mind
to equalized learning opportunities to all learners and produced holistically developed
act no .11650 or the inclusive education act 2022 was well receive by special
education expects, as well as learner's with disabilities and their families,as the law
gives these learners more access to education (INQUIRER NET 2023)
Inclusive education aims to mianstream students with special needs in a flexible,
learning environment for aquiring quality education that optimize their potential for
holistic development this goal depends upon teachers who can atain inclusivity in
educational system by shaping positive value, providing knowledge and developing the
skill of exeptional student to cope with life challenges (Dela fuente ,2021)
The researcher aims to explore the lived experiences of learners with special
education needy (LSEN) of janiuay National comprehensive high school.

1.3 SIGNIFICANT OF THE STUDY.
This study is Intended to classify what experiences of learners with Special, Education
Needs have faced, and to examine the problems Faced by students with physical
disabilities regarding their study, in Janiuay Iloilo
To the students of Janiuay National Comprehensive High School. They will learn
through this study how crucial it is for learners with Special Education. Needs to be
aware of the issue they are dealing with, Including any Physical, emotional, mental or
developmental difficulties.
To the parents of the students, involved, they play a crucial part in their children's
education. the right of parents to take education is guaranted by federal law.
To the Teachers, this study will assist them in Understanding Student's emotions and
Inspire kids to practice emotional restriant.
To the school administrator, this study will benefit those student who experience
constant pressure and reduce the likelihood that they will attempt suicide.
To the future researchers, the findings of this study can provide them with future
Information and serve as references for future researcher on the difficulties faced by
students with disabilities.

1.4 SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
The life experience of learners with special education needs,were Invistigated
using a qualitative approach,more specifically a case study approach. The individual
had issues in the classroom. This Research attempt to provide a welcoming
environment for those with disabilities also strives to learn how to guide , and support
people who do not have any disabilities, especially in the area of education where they
require undivided attention. This would greatly aid in understanding the difficulties
faced by learners with special education needs in janiuay Iloilo, were the only
participants in this study who met our strict criteria and it was Carried out in the years
2020-2023 The researchers created questionnaires with open-ended questions that
include questions about Students with disabilities.

year 2022-2023.

behavioral, or learning disability or impairment) that cause specialized services or

METHODOLOGY
This chapter present the methodology of this research such as the method used
: reaserch design, locale of the study, sampling design and technique, Data gathering
ethical consideration, statistical data analysis and research instrument are also
included in this chapter.
RESEARCH DESIGN
Qualitative research includes collections and analysis of non numerical data like
audio records, videos and text to understand experiences, concepts and opinions.
A case study was the chosen research design because the characteristics of the
participant which have several instrumental bounded cases are selected to develop a
mote in depth understanding of the phenomena that a single case can provide.
LOCALE OF THE STUDY
This study will conduct at Janiuay national Comprehensive High School where the
participants enrolled. There were 5 respondents who look part in the study.
SAMPLING DESIGN AND TECHNIQUE
The respondents of the study are the Learners with special education needs that
enrolled in school year 2022 -2023 the researcher made use of the selective sampling
method in the selection of the respondents since the study was focused on particular
group.

Before the data collection itself, a letter of approval was signed by the school head
which allow the researcher to gather the needed data . after that the researchers give
the participant a background about the study for her/him awearness.the approval of
the participants, proceeding to the semi-structured interview was the next step
participants in this research was protected since they engage in the interview;thier
profile was deemed confidential for the participants privacy.
ETHICAL CONSIDERATION
In this study, the researchers asked permission from the school principal/school head
to allow them to interview secondary education levels with disability.the researcher
have considered ethical is sues by giving the participants an informed consent
documents wich discuss the night of both researcher and participants.this would help
to maintain and secure their confidentiality and personal information, the researcher
avoided fabricating data and only considered the truth.the researcher ore responsible
for the questions answes , and result that appeared in the study.the researchers
respect the confidentiality and dignity of each participants.
INSTRUMENT
The researchers had an unstructured questioner consisting of the natural story of the
participants and same question may be followed up in case there is information that
can be asked to be used in this study. It is also fitting for this study due to the
participants 'decision of what information they can share about them to the
researchers. the instrumentation used gave way in retrieving data for they study to be
successful
DATA ANALYSIS
The researcher used thematic analysis to analyze the data gathered . the
researcher transcribe:
The researchers transcribe the recorded interview into text then.coding of data
the researchers highlighted the important data after that is the generating of themes
-The researcher looked at the list of codes and their associated extracts and then tried
to collate the codes into broader themes that say something interesting about the
given data. Next is reviewing of themes -The researchers read through all the extracts
related to the codes in order to explore if the support the themes if there are
contradictions and to see if themes overlap.then ,the next step is naming and defining
themes. The researchers named and describe each of themed you identified in the
previous steps the researchers also described what is interesting in the given themes
and are they interesting. Lastly, writing up - the researcher wrote up a clear account of
