1. LITTLE ROCK!!!! The time when black people were aloud to be in the same classroom by nick, dean, jayden, luker and james M.
2. All the way back in May 17 1955, Brown (an American man) tried to get his black daughter into a white school. Back then you were not allowed because black and white were not allowed to mix together, especially in the same classrooms. Back then blacks in America were treated horribly and had no rights at all. Brown was the first one to stand up for the blacks and took his case to the Board of Education. Brown won and from then on, blacks and whites were allowed to be in the same classroom. LITTLE ROCK
3. Here is a short, IMAGINED, letter that mr brown sent to the board of education Dear Board of Education, Today I entered summer school and I asked at the front counter for an education. The school said no because you are black and we have strict ‘white only policy’. Now is the time for white and black people to merge and to form a great school. Seriously toilets in Little rock are not “Men” and “Women”, they are “White” and “Colored”. Meetings are the same. Drinking fountains are also the same. I am so upset and felt alienated by this treatment. Please Board of Education, consider our case and give this young girl an equal education. Mr. Brown
