ACTIVITY: DRAMATIZATION. (READING AND WRITING)
1. This activity could be Formative or Summative Assessment.
2. With the Literary text chosen, students will read it to recognize plot, characters, setting, theme. (elements of a story).
3. Also they are going to practice reading to know vocabulary, pronunciation, and intonation. (READING PRACTICE).
4. Teacher will ask for a Written Summary of the story to check understanding of the activity.
5. Preparing the Dramatization, students will work in groups. Write their own script. (WRITING PRACTICE)
6. To practice writing with Literary Texts, students are going to write an alternative end for story. Each group will write
different ends for their own.
7. Students are going to practice dramatization using their own alternative end. (SPEAKING)
8. Dramatization will be presented in their classrooms.
9. Dramatization will be graded with rubric.

1. This activity could be Formative or Summative Assessment.
2. 7th Grades ‘students will prepare the contests based in folk tales for all the primary students. Like marbles, sack races,
jump the rope, trompo game, and others.
3. They will investigate using folk tales about the rules, materials, equipment for different traditional Ecuadorian games.
4. 7th Grades ‘students are going to write down the most important rules according to the ages or grades. (WRITING
ACTIVITY). They could invent new rules.
5. They will create a campaign to present different activities and contests for all school students. Posters, Flyers,
Explanations, Practices, Examples.
6. 7th Grades ´students socialize the rules, directions, places, time, dates, materials, prizes for the games with others
grades where children must read the information. (READING ACTIVITY)

ACTIVITY: SHERLOCK HOLMES PODCAST
1. This activity could be a Summative Assessment.
2. High school (10th grades) students will choose a short story of Sherlock Holmes.
3. They will read to know vocabulary, pronunciation, and intonation. (READING PRACTICE).
4. 10th grades students are going to create a written activity (WRITING ACTIVITY), Q/A, write a summary, answer T/F, write a
different end, for their partners to solve when they listen the podcast. (READING PRACTICE)
5. They will create a podcast account to present their reading. The podcast reading must be recorded.
6. Dates and time for podcasts reading activity must be programmed in advance.
7. Reading practices will be graded with a rubric.

GODS PRESS CONFERENCE
ACTIVITY: INTERVIEW
1. This activity could be Formative or Summative Assessment.
2. High school students must investigate in short stories or novels about Greek Gods and choose one to characterize. Seus,
Ares, Poseidon, Aphrodite. Write a summary of the chosen character. (WRITING ACTIVITY)
3. A different group of students also investigate about Greek Gods and prepare a set of questions according to the
information that they research. (WRITING ACTIVITY)
4. In a press conference, News reporters will ask, and Gods will answer the questions. (READING ACTIVITY)
5. Costumes must be necessary.
6. Questions and answers will be graded with a rubric.
