Go Tell It on the Mountain is a story than many African Americans can relate too. Author James
Baldwin paints a picture of what the post Civil War era was for former slaves and their families.
Many African Americans moved north in areas such as Harlem to find better job opportunities and

Laws. These concepts are vector addition, force as a vector, and the law of equilibrium. The
densities of two different objects were compared by measuring their masses and volumes. In this
experiment, two different sets of methods of volume measurement were compared to the density
computation of an object bearing a standard shape. In addition, the density computation was
used to determine the buoyant force acting on different objects. At this point, it was observed
that an object maintains a constant velocity if all the external forces cancel out one another (no
net force results from the unbalanced forces acting on an object). In this case, a force table was
used to study Newton s First Law of Motion. These forces were represented as F1, F2, and F3.
Analysis of results obtained from the experiment proved that the value of F3 determined through

On a visit to India a while back I came upon a fenced empty field that was practically buried in
flimsy white throwaway plastic bags, the kind you carry your purchases home in from the store.
The locals joked that this was the garden where plastic bags grew.
But when I returned to India last month, I was pleasantly surprised to find that now when you
shop in New Delhi, no store will give you a plastic bag for your purchases. They re illegal there, as
well as in many other Indian cities and states.
That puts India well ahead of most of the world when it comes to this particular ecological issue.
Most everywhere in the U.S., for instance, the throwaway plastic bag remains the ubiquitous way
people haul their stuff home from the local store. But those bags never biodegrade into anything

What do you see when you think about the Holocaust? What are things you associate with it?
Personally I think about the absolute evil of the Nazis and the horrible things that the Jews had
to endure. I think about how gut wrenchingly terrible of a life style every one of those people
had to live through and what it would be like to have been in their place. What I don t think
about and had never even considered before reading the book Ordinary Men is what it was like to
be a member of one of the police battalions that had to do all these gut wrenchingly terrible crimes
toward innocent human beings. I saw them as trained cold blooded killers, robots under Hitler s
command, and nothing else. While reading this book I began to realize that these people were
living human beings too, that at first felt disgusted by what they were instructed to do too and that s

individuals have a role in racial profiling and do not realize it. Racial profiling is using one s race
