This document outlines the structure and agenda for a workshop on technology-enhanced learning. The workshop will have three main sections: 1) Hindsight - Three disciplinary perspectives on the concept of literacy will be presented. 2) Insight - Presentations will discuss trends, disruptions, enablers and barriers relating to literacy. 3) Foresight - Participants will discuss in small groups whether schools, higher education and tertiary education need to transform to enable new types of learning, and if so how and under what scenarios. The workshop aims to explore relationships between user-generated content and learning, and how educational institutions can adapt to learners' informal digital interactions.
