2. Core idea of your LinkedIn-profile
The main tasks for your profile:
– Marketing yourself and your skills
– Building, maintaining and utilizing your networks
– Making your strengths visible
Profile must be targeted to the sector or goal you are heading for
Three different aspects in your profile
1. Who are you? (personality)
2. Where are you coming from? (skills)
3. Where are you going to go? (motivation)
In the background are your vision of your strengths, goals and opportunities aka self-
knowledge
Your person in everyday life vs. your person in working life
3. Why you should be in LinkedIn?
Because there are already:
– Headhunters
– HR-people
– Jobs (open and hidden ones)
– Employers
– Discussions and new ideas
– Your colleagues (old, present and future)
– Information about your field of interest and possibilities!
You can show your personality, skills and goals wider in LinkedIn than just in your CV and application

working, what other skills they have, their posts in
