I am an enthusiastic, new graduate with a specific interest in engineering and manufacturing. I have 
gained knowledge of different engineering components such as quality, assurance, structures, aircraft 
performance and safety during my time at university. I am now looking for an ‘entry level’ graduate

Engineering work experience 
Work experience trainee GE Aviation 17 November – 21 November 2014 
Worked in the RBU (Repair breaking unit) department. Tasks included: 
· Cleaning of the air frame and replacing it new dampers in the small modular repair sector. 
· Pipe testing to check for pressure level, leakage and drainage check. 
· Replacing old nuts from the low compressor inlet of GP7000 and fitting new ones on them in 
large modular repair sector. 
· Crack propagation to look for any scratches or crack in engines parts especially after it has 
been welded or been brought for inspection. 
· Filing down the gear shafts using pencil drainer in circular disk area. 
Work experience trainee GE Aviation 21 February 2015 – 8 March 2015 
· 2 weeks of hands on practical experience working with GE90 and GP7000 engines

· Onsite tour gave me an insight into Airbus’ day to day functions. 
· Gained a clear understanding about the wing design process and team responsibilities

The job involves giving out VAT refunds to non-European customers. It was a promotion from my 
position of queue hosting and a reward for my performance in delivering excellent customer service

The job involved checking every customer’s form ensuring all information was completed before 
being serviced by the sales assistant. 
Hospitality Waiting Staff Compass Group November 2010- June2010 
I was serving customers at their tables and carrying out various tasks at Millennium, Cardiff City, 
and Liberty stadium. 
Achievements 
· During my flight session for an assignment, I was given the opportunity to manoeuver the 
plane from a 45 degree angle to bring it level to the landing strip. It felt like a once in a 
lifetime opportunity. 
· I was top of the list for the sales chart in December 2013 with a turnover of £52,800 with 150 
transactions. As our team target was met, I received a bonus of £95.
