New York – A team of international lawyers has just released its Report, “Crisis in Ukraine: Its Legal Dimensions" and recommendations on the ongoing crisis and armed conflict in Ukraine. Prepared for Razom, a Ukrainian-American human rights organization, this team of highly trained international lawyers has outlined legal conclusions on Eastern Ukraine; the annexation of Crimea; the Budapest Memorandum on international security guarantees; and the human rights and humanitarian law at issue.
The international team prepared their Report as pro bono service while studying at NYU School of Law. The well-documented 76-page Report covers all the critical legal aspects of the conflict. Ivanna Bilych, Razom General Counsel, said, “This is a must-read Report for policymakers. It spells out, in one place, the law you need to know to understand the crisis.” Lidiya Dukhovich, Esq., Director of the Institute of Modern Russia, added, “Armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine is a tragedy. The Report explains the legal stakes, but no Report can explain adequately the terrifying human stakes for both Russia and Ukraine.”
The detailed Report, with exhaustive citations, covers the right of secession; crimes of aggression; critical energy security issues; sanctions imposed to date; and military law.

The second most popular social network in the U.S., LinkedIn is used for keeping track of and growing a professional network, finding and applying for jobs, posting and viewing online résumés, giving and receiving recommendations, learning more about companies, tracking industry news and moves, and more.
While recruiters sometimes use any and all social profiles to find out what you're all about, it seems LinkedIn still rules in terms of actually getting the job. in today’s professional world, people change jobs and locations constantly. By connecting on LinkedIn, your address book will never go out of date. Your contacts update their profiles, keeping you current with their latest jobs, projects and contact info. You’ll stay in closer contact with great tools to communicate and collaborate. LinkedIn connects you to jobs, sales leads and ideal business partners. With their powerful job search engine, company research tools and a jobs board that shows who you know at listed companies, LinkedIn is the place to turn for new opportunities.
What is Networking? Navigating and growing a network to meet people who can help you advance your professional goals and awareness. Everyone you meet can help you move your job search forward. LinkedIn helps you maintain these connections you create everyday, and it allows you to create an online professional network

The headline is possibly the most important part on your LinkedIn profile. It is your 120 character hook to people finding you in a LinkedIn search, it should be about what you do as opposed to what you are. It should be memorable and enticing enough for someone to click on your profile
These sections allow you to further enhance and personalize your Linkedin profile.
Linkedin will help you find people you already know by importing your email address contacts. Most email services store emails automatically, providing you with a superb way to connect. Once you do that, connecting is easy because you can search through a first degree connection’s connection list to find colleagues and acquaintances you have in common. 1st-degree - People you're directly connected to because you have accepted their invitation to connect, or they have accepted your invitation. You'll see a 1st degree icon next to their name in search results and on their profile. You can contact them by sending a message on LinkedIn. 2nd-degree - People who are connected to your 1st-degree connections. You'll see a 2nd degree icon next to their name in search results and on their profile. You can send them an invitation by clicking Connect or contact them through an InMail or an introduction. 3rd-degree - People who are connected to your 2nd-degree connections. You'll see a 3rd degree icon next to their name in search results and on their profile. If their full first and last names are displayed, you will be able to send them an invitation by clicking Connect. If only the first letter of their last name is displayed, clicking Connect is not an option but you can still contact them through an InMail or an introduction.
LinkedIn makes you go through a series of extra steps when you try to connect with someone. You have to demonstrate how you're connected, which helps cut down on potential spammers. Some career experts say this is a good thing, as, unlike Twitter, where you try to collect as many followers as possible, you should limit your connections to people you have worked with, or at least people you know Once your profile fully demonstrates your expertise and experience, research groups in your industry and join those that interest you. Add value by contributing frequently and acknowledging others. Remember that it’s about adding value, not marketing yourself. "Groups are a good way to create connections,
Joining Groups and displaying the group badges on your profile are the perfect ways to fill out the professionalism of your profile and show your desire to connect to people with whom you have something in common. start by joining the larger industry groups related to the career they want to pursue.
joining a LinkedIn group could be helpful in a number of ways. Most important is the ability to network, find resources and share information with other like-minded individuals in the “Discussions” tab. Much like LinkedIn Answers, you can ask and answer questions in an effective way – typically focused around the purpose of the Group. There’s also a “News” tab where you can share or read links to articles or blog posts (again likely related to the Group’s purpose). Posting/answering Discussions and News items could help you in establishing some expertise or relationships with other Group members and those relationships could develop into business opportunities.
With a few keystrokes they can give you a recommendation that is often more effective than the old photo-copied reference letters we used to keep in file drawers. potential employers can not only see who has written references for you, but can see who you have written references for. You can ask for references by filling out and sending this request form, that is then sent to the connection you want to write your recommendation. Go to the Profile menu, select recommendations from the drop down menu and click on it. This is where you’ll find the above form Try to edit the generic message that generates when you begin the rec form
