LIMITING REACTANT

Cupcakes
 Sally wants to make cupcakes for her
    customers. The equation is:
    2 eggs + 1 cup flour + 1 cup sugar + 1 stick of
      butter  20 cupcakes

 Sally has: 3 eggs, 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of
sugar, and 2 sticks of butter

 How many cupcakes can Sally make?
Cupcakes

            Still only 20!

            This is because the
               eggs are the limiting
               reactant in this recipe.
               The eggs will run out
               before the other
               ingredients and
               therefore only 20
               cupcakes can be
               made.
