Workindenmark was established in 2008 by the Danish Ministry of Employment to increase the number of qualified candidates wishing to work in Denmark. It has 3 centers in Copenhagen, Odense, and Aarhus. The presentation provided information about the Danish labor market, which currently has an unemployment rate of 6.3% and will face future skilled labor shortages. It also contained details about Danish society, culture, education, healthcare, taxes, cost of living, language requirements, and job opportunities in fields such as IT, engineering, healthcare and life sciences. Guidelines were provided on writing an effective chronological CV in Denmark.
