The Scrum Team
High level strategy and vision is refined into a portfolio of big ticket
items to deliver.
The big ticket items are refined into Epics. Large scale stories that describe
in business language what is desired to achieve the strategic vision.
Epics are refined and broken down into their smallest valuable size (Stories).
Often called Minimal Viable Product, or Minimum Marketable Feature.
Release Management works in parallel with the Product Owners developing the stories to
decide what features (a combination of stories) to release at each planned release cycle.
Stories are developed by the Scrum Team, and then continuously integrated
into the ‘build’ server.
On a schedule determined by Release Management the builds (collections of features
delivered by building the stories) are then released into production. They may go
though regression testing in a staging environment first.
