following criteria
1.Abdominal waist circumference: > 94 cm-
men, > 80 cms – women.{102/88 – NCEP }
2.Serum Hypertriglyceridemia: > 150 mgs/dl
3.Serum HDL: < 40 mg/dl – men, < 50 mg/dl –
women.
4.Blood pressure: > 130 /85 mm hg
5.Fasting blood glucose: > 100 mg/dl
