This document discusses the Islamic concept of life after death and its importance. It explains that believers will be judged by God based on their deeds, both good and bad, and rewarded with either heaven or hell. Non-believers deny the afterlife, while some believers think certain people will receive special treatment. True believers accept responsibility for their actions and strive to please God, knowing worldly gains are temporary but the afterlife is eternal. Belief in the afterlife shapes one's morals and motivates good behavior and avoidance of wrongdoing.
This passage discusses several key points:
1. It calls on all mankind to worship Allah, who created humanity and all those who came before. Worshiping Allah alone allows one to avoid evil and difficulty.
2. Allah created the earth as a floor and the sky as a canopy for humanity. He sends down rain to grow fruits for sustenance. People should not set up rivals to Allah after receiving His blessings.
3. The passage challenges those who doubt the divine origins of the Quran to produce a single chapter like it or face the hellfire, which is prepared for nonbelievers. Believers are promised gardens with rivers and fruits resembling those on earth, along with chaste sp
The document discusses how believers can fight against spiritual enemies or "giants" that attack them in different areas of life, represented as seven mountains: personal life, family, work, nation, and the world. It identifies specific evil spirits like the Girgashites that promote turning away from God. To overcome these giants, believers must use the spiritual weapons and gifts God provides, like faith, healing and prophecy. The document provides examples from Jesus' life of how he overcame giants by being fully devoted to God and not fearing, loving others, and speaking positively. The goal is to train believers to take control of each area of their life for God, starting with the personal level and expanding outward.
This document discusses key Islamic concepts about the nature and attributes of God, known as Allah in Arabic. It explains that Allah is the unique personal name of God, with no plural or gender form. Allah is described as the sole Creator and Sustainer of the universe who is unlike any other being. The document rejects depicting Allah as favoring some over others based on human attributes and emphasizes Allah's justice and mercy.
This talk finishes the last three petals of TULIP and focus on the question: once a believer, always a believer? These distinctions form the basis of Reformed Theology.
This document contains Islamic teachings from Justice Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani on various topics such as curing worries, behaving in Ramadan, maintaining relationships, not speaking ill of the dead, giving up falsehood and argument, and how to learn and teach religion. This document provides context and purpose for Ray Park's guide "Along the Way." It introduces Ray Park and explains that the guide is intended to share practical insights from his life experience to encourage fellow travelers on their journey to Heaven. It describes how the Bible can be supplemented by hearing from others who have walked the same path. The preface concludes by stating Ray Park's resolution to face death without fear now that he has been diagnosed with late-stage cancer.
He loves you ; He loathes your sins, but knowing that
you are dust, he loves your souls. . . . Think of
such love as this ! a God, your God, the only God, the
Lord of Heaven and Earth, yearning, dying in love for

The document discusses the biblical concept of God's sovereignty. It begins by defining sovereignty as God planning and carrying out His perfect will over all of creation without failure or defeat. Several Bible passages are then examined that demonstrate God's control over all things, from life and death to making people poor or rich. The document argues that God ordains both good and evil in the world according to His purposes. It notes some find this difficult to accept but encourage internal reflection on the truth. The sovereignty of God is said to mean He does whatever He pleases in heaven and earth, and no one can resist His will or question His actions.
The Puritans believed that religion should permeate all aspects of society. They wanted to reform the Church of England and establish a society based on strict biblical principles. Puritan culture emphasized moral purity, simplicity, obedience, and fear of God's wrath. Individuality was discouraged and people lived with an intense awareness of sin and their need for God's grace.

This document provides a manual for mass deliverance from demons based on the teachings of Win Worley. It contains instructions for conducting group renunciation prayers to break curses and close doors that may be allowing demonic influence. The introductions explain that renouncing unforgiveness, occult contact, soul ties, generational sins, and trauma is important to remove the demons' "rights" or strongholds before casting them out. The manual then provides sample prayers and renunciations for a group to work through forgiveness, renouncing the occult, breaking soul ties and curses, and confessing ancestral sins together to achieve mass deliverance.
The document summarizes some of the key teachings of the Bahá'í Faith. It discusses that the Bahá'í Faith aims to unite all people as equal members of the human family. It teaches that God is unknowable but reveals Himself through divine manifestations like Bahá'u'lláh. Bahá'u'lláh's teachings bring guidance at a time when humanity needs unity and peace. The document invites the reader to join in striving to establish the oneness of humankind as envisioned by the Bahá'í teachings.
The Office of the Keys gives the church authority to forgive repentant sinners or withhold forgiveness from the unrepentant. This authority was given by Christ to the apostles and is exercised through pastoral ministry. Absolution is the public declaration of forgiveness to those who confess their sins and repent. Repentance involves acknowledging one's sins, resolving to sin no more, and trusting in God's mercy through Christ.
This document contains prayers for peace from 12 different world religions: Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jainist, Jewish, Native African, Native American, Shinto, Sikh, and Zoroastrian. It describes Islamic teachings about how God created humans and other beings like angels and jinn. It explains the story of Adam and Eve based on the Quran, including how Iblis (the devil) disobeyed God and was made an enemy of humanity. The document also summarizes Islamic beliefs about prophets and messengers, including important figures like Muhammad, and the role of the Quran as divine scripture.
This document provides an introduction and first chapter of the book "Devil Walk: A True Story" by Clint M. Byars. The introduction discusses modern interest in spirituality and questions of God, the supernatural, and purpose. The author recounts taking LSD with friends and having a terrifying visionary experience where he saw patterns representing selfish and wasted aspects of his life. He felt detached from the visions but recognized them as about himself. The chapter ends with him experiencing increasing panic and chaos in the visions.
The document discusses how God is in charge and in control of everything. It provides several biblical examples to support this, including passages from Psalms, Job, Deuteronomy, and 1 Peter that affirm God as the creator and ruler over all. The document urges reading God's word and praying to him for instruction and direction, as many biblical figures like Solomon and Jesus did. While God is ultimately in control, he also allows for free will and gives clear guidelines for how to live within his boundaries.
The Roman Catholic Church
This denomination is a traditional group of Christians who believe in Natural Law: doing what God intended in a natural way. Up until the C16th Catholics were the dominant group of Christians in Europe. Catholics are controlled by the Pope in Rome
Protestant Churches
These are the Christian groups that developed after Martin Luther’s debate in 1517.
These are modern Christians who have re-interpreted the Bible and have a different view to the Roman Catholics.
These Christians are NOT controlled by the Pope.
Many people have wondered what God might be like. Christians believe that he has certain attributes that define him.
Adam and Eve were created by God and placed in the garden of Eden. They had everything they wanted. But one day a serpent appeared and asked Eve to get him some fruit. He asked for fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This was the one tree whose fruit they couldn’t eat. Eve took the fruit and ate some herself. Seeing that nothing bad had happened she took the fruit to Adam to eat and he did. God knew of their disobedience and punished them for their actions. It is due to them that nature is out of balance with humanity and evil exists in the world. Had Adam and Eve obeyed God, evil would not exist
Lucifer was an angel in Heaven with God and all the other angels. However, he was not happy with his situation; he was jealous of God’s power. Lucifer challenged God, but God is omnipotent and easily defeated Lucifer, casting him out of Heaven into Hell below. Since then, Lucifer, or Satan, has worked to get revenge on God. He does this through causing pain and suffering to what God loves best: humans
Although millions of people believe in God there are still plenty of people who argue that God cannot exist if evil does: they are a contradiction
The Problem of Evil and Suffering
If God is omnipotent and omnibenevolent then how can evil exist?
If God is loving he would want to stop evil
If God was powerful he would be able to stop evil
So why doesn’t he?!
There are a number of responses to this question, some religious and some not
This document contains the transcript of a presentation by Dr. Peter Hammond on spiritual warfare. Some key points:
- Christians are engaged in an intense spiritual warfare against Satan and his forces. Satan seeks to tempt God's people and place snares to distract, deviate, discourage and defeat them.
- If Christians harbor sin and do not deal with areas of weakness, they give Satan a foothold in their lives. It is important to learn how to resist temptation and put on the spiritual armor of God.
- Specific strategies are discussed for taking back ground that has been yielded to the enemy through sins like bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, and involvement in the occult. This involves repent
The biblical account of the fall of Adam can be summarized as follows:
1) God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the Garden of Eden, commanding them not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Disobedience would result in death.
2) Satan in the form of a serpent tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. She and Adam disobeyed God.
3) As a result of their sin, Adam and Eve's fellowship with God was broken. They became ashamed and afraid, and were expelled from the garden. God cursed the serpent and pronounced judgment on mankind.
The foundational pillar of Christ's work provides assurance of salvation. Christ's sacrifice satisfied God's demands against sin. His death was a sufficient sacrifice that fulfilled God's requirements for justice. Through faith in Christ, believers are forgiven of all their sins and do not have to fear eternal punishment. Christ offers new spiritual life to all who believe in Him, as His atoning work covers all sin.
The document discusses how churches can become agents of hope by focusing on discipleship and spiritual formation. It argues that Jesus proclaimed a new story of God's kingdom of service, forgiveness, inclusion and sacrifice rather than domination, revolution, scapegoating or accumulation. Churches should train disciples to embody this story through spiritual practices with the Holy Spirit's power. The key is believing the gospel, accepting disciple-making as the mission, seeing faith as a way of life practiced in community, and starting small spiritual formation.

This document discusses the formation of disciples through spiritual practices. It suggests that disciples of Jesus are formed through intentional practices like fasting, meditation, study, service, and identifying with Jesus, rather than through creating "Christians" or focusing on the church. The early disciples saw themselves as learners in Jesus' way who were being transformed into his image through such practices.
The document discusses how liturgy and Christian faith can help address four crises: planetary crisis (prosperity), poverty crisis (equity), peace-making crisis (security), and religious crisis (spirituality). It argues that conventional views see humanity as sinful and doomed, while an emerging view is that God wants to heal and transform humanity. Public worship through liturgy can bond people to a biblical narrative of hope and transformation from the individual to the global level.
Jesus was to be revealed in blazing fireGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus being revealed as a blazing fire when He returns with the mighty angels. He will come in judgement on those who are unbelievers.
The document discusses two types of people - the Pharisee and the publican. It references a parable in Luke 18:9-14 about a Pharisee who prays, thanking God he is not like other people, whereas the publican prays humbly, asking for mercy. The document suggests significance and acceptance are only found in Jesus Christ. It also references Romans 7:21-24 about intention versus implementation and the struggle between desires of the flesh and spirit.
This document discusses the dilution of truth that can occur when movements get diluted or stamped out over time. It argues that there is more to truth than Western Christian culture proclaims, and that judging others prevents seeing deeper truths. It asserts that we were lowered into disobedience, not due to Satan, and that God has concluded all in disobedience so He may have mercy on all. It encourages leaving accepted beliefs that are becoming obsolete and embracing higher understandings of a loving, forgiving God who removes our transgressions.
Jesus was history's most powerful voiceGLENN PEASE
This is a study of the voice of Jesus which is the most amazing and powerful voice of all time. His voice raised many from the dead, and in the end his voice will raise all the dead of history.
The document discusses two views of the human situation and the questions Jesus sought to answer. The conventional view sees humanity as doomed to hell due to imperfection, while the emerging view sees humanity in desperate trouble due to rebellion and sickness. Jesus responds by saying God loves humanity and invites all to follow a new path of transformation through discipleship.
The document discusses the purpose of life according to Islamic beliefs. It states that the purpose is to know and experience attributes of God by reflecting on His signs in creation and surrendering to Him. This world is viewed as a test and struggle where people can learn, grow in virtues, and attain forgiveness through patience and belief that God is responsive to those who seek Him.
Jesus quotes Deuteronomy 15 in saying "The poor you will always have with you." The passage from Deuteronomy instructs Israelites to remit debts every seven years and not be tight-fisted toward the needy. It warns against viewing the needy with hostility near the year of remission and promises God will bless the generous. Jesus' quote acknowledges there will always be poverty in the world and an obligation to aid the poor.
The Christian hope of the Resurrection as explained from Daniel, 1 Corinthians 15 and the Gospel of John. Why Christians should place their hope in Christ's Return and in their resurrection and eternal reward.
Freemasonry 003 a masonic funeral serviceColinJxxx
- The document is a Masonic funeral service that includes prayers, readings, and speeches meant to comfort those grieving and celebrate the life of the deceased Mason.
- It begins with opening prayers and a roll call of the deceased brother's Masonic achievements. The Master then gives a speech focusing on God, immortality, and friendship to provide comfort and meaning.
- Symbolic items, including a lambskin apron and evergreen, are placed in the casket as reminders of purity, innocence, and faith in immortality. Closing prayers ask God for comfort and hope in the afterlife.
The document discusses two views of the human situation - a conventional view and an emerging view. It then compares how Jesus may have responded to questions about the crisis under each view. The conventional view is that humanity is doomed to hell due to imperfection, while the emerging view is that humanity has rebelled and filled the world with evil. Jesus' message under the conventional view is about individual salvation, while under the emerging view it is about transforming the human condition and following a new path.
Eternal life is the goal of God's plan. Those who keep God's commandments and receive all the ordinances will inherit eternal life. To qualify, one must diligently develop Christlike attributes. While many are called, relatively few become worthy through obedience. Those who make their calling and election sure will dwell with God and receive immortal glory.

Más tarde, mientras estudiaba en los Estados Unidos, un compañero musulmán le introdujo en el estudio del Islam, lo que finalmente lo llevó
This document describes the author's journey from Catholicism to Islam. It details how he was deeply devoted to Jesus as a child but had questions about Christian doctrines like the crucifixion. As a teenager, he was influenced by paranormal experiences. When he witnessed Christians stealing, it further shook his faith. This led him to seek answers in Islam, where he found monotheism and teachings consistent with the original messages of Jesus and other prophets.
This document discusses human rights in Islam and common misconceptions about them. It begins by introducing the three main trends in defining human rights - prioritizing individual rights, prioritizing societal rights, and balancing the two. Islam takes the third approach of balancing individual and societal rights. It established many human rights principles over 14 centuries ago. Modern definitions of human rights often have political biases and do not truly protect the oppressed. The document argues that properly implementing Islamic law and principles would better guarantee human rights and remove oppression.
The document discusses how all prophets from Adam to Muhammad conveyed the same message from God - that God is One and should be worshipped alone. It provides verses from the Bible and Quran supporting theological monotheism. The document argues that Christianity's concept of the Trinity contradicts biblical verses stating no one can see God. It concludes that Islam is the true religion of all prophets, and that believing this message and all prophets, including Muhammad, is key to salvation.

1) The film maligns Islam through misquotations, fabricated images, and out-of-context clips in an attempt to falsely link Islam to terrorism.
2) The film's attempts to insult Islam have backfired, increasing interest in learning about the true teachings of Islam.
3) Many non-Muslim groups and leaders have condemned the film for promoting hate and being factually incorrect in its portrayal of Islam.

The Prophetic Medicine
This book is the panacea for those in search of good health. It is a magnificent work that is a treasure every Muslim household. Although it was written by the author, Ibn Al-Qayyim, over six hundred years ago, it is extremely timely work for our generation in which health and natural health care products have become an important aspect of the lives of so many. The author presents the guidance of the Prophet in dealing with a variety of health issues, including treatment of ailment and preventive remedies to keep the body fit. As the Qur'an and Sunnah are the main sources of Islamic lifestyle, it only stands to reason that they should likewise be referred to in the matters of health and fitness. This is the approach taken by Ibn Al-Qayyim as he presents Verses of the Qur'an and statements of the Prophet as his main reference in these issues of health and medicines.
