2. October 2013
All those who bought a € 10 buy-in at a newly opened store on October 7,
2013 joined the Racian pupil support. Lidl paid 50 cents for each such
purchase in support of Jan Amos Comenius Primary School and the Tbilisi
Primary School. In sum, they earned € 841, which would cost € 420.5 for
each of the selected schools. Lidl has decided to increase the amount and
dedicate to the above-mentioned elementary schools after € 3000.
3. July 2014 – March 2015
Thanks to Lidl's customers, from July 2014 until
March 2015, it was possible to allocate funds for
the purchase and planting of another 109,672
young trees in the Tatras. The chain has decided
to round the number of seedlings for this year's
spring planting to 115,000.
The third phase of the "Water for Trees"
campaign was again a record.
4. 2015
Lidl Slovak Republic supported responsible projects in the total value of €
860,000 in 2015. Hundreds of seriously ill children receive high-quality
health care thanks to cutting-edge technology, thousands of elementary
school pupils will benefit from new sports and educational aids, and future
generations will recognize nature as we know it.
5. September 2015
• On Monday, 28 September 2015, Lidl Slovak Republic opened its
upgraded store on Necpaliska cesta in Prievidza.
On the first day of sale, a € 0.50 school purchase from Malonepalská Street
was charged for each purchase over € 10.
In total, this way managed to get € 1752. Lidl has decided to increase this
amount and spends € 3,000 on the pupils to buy sports and didactic needs.
6. November 2015
• From the 21st of November, you can receive one of three audiobooks for
every 20 € purchase: "Seven Goats", "Twelve Months" and "Snow Queen"
for symbolic € 1. In 2015, Lidl donated € 600,000 of life-saving incubators
to its customers in 14 hospitals in 10 Slovak cities. These workplaces help
the most risky newborns.
7. 2016
In 2016, we built the 10 Lidl playgrounds Žihadielko for a total value of €
870,000. The stonemason has provoked a positive influence and managed
to unify the entire city. During six weeks, the whole of Slovakia lived, as
evidenced by 2 619 762 votes cast. Many cities organized various
challenges or competitions, involving individuals, schools, sports teams, all
with one common goal - to get the most votes for their city.
