This paper is a demonstration of what you have learned about moral reasoning based on our examining of ethical theories
and specific ethical issues. As such, you should focus your attention on carefully spelling out the reasoning that supports
your conclusion, and relating that to the theories we have discussed in class.
You are free to write on the same topic and question you wrote on in previous papers or choose a different topic and
question.
If you choose a different topic, you would benefit from going through the Week One Assignment exercises.
For a list of acceptable topics to start with, see the options from the list of topics available in the online course. If you are
still unsure of your topic or of how properly to focus it into a relevant ethical question, you are strongly encouraged to
consult with your instructor.
You are free to draw upon the work you did in previous papers, and reuse parts that you feel were strong, but you are not
to simply recycle the previous papers. This paper should reflect the culmination of the development of your thoughts on
this issue, and many of the requirements for the final paper cannot be satisfied by a heavily recycled paper.
The consideration of an objection against your own view is a way of showing that your view has the support of good
reasons and can answer its strongest objections. Therefore, aim at identifying and addressing the strongest opposing
argument you can, bearing in mind that a good thesis should be able to respond to the best arguments for the other side.
Thesis Statement
The thesis statement is more than just a position statement of the sort you provided in the first assignment; rather, it states

This topic will fall within the science/description and social civic breadth area of liberal

objective. Many Activist believe that science has proven global warming to be a real
ecological concern yet many countries and individuals in society choose not to
acknowledge global warming as fact.
The Science/Description breadth area because as mentioned one must believe in the facts
and evidence provided on the topic. Global warming and the study of its effects requires
an understanding of nature and the structure. Technological advances may provide many
solutions to the challenge, however, few countries have the financial means or education
to implement such solutions.

Do you intend to educate or illuminate a particular group about your topic? Do you
intend that this group or person will change it's/his/her thinking or take action because of
your study?
The purpose of this study is to have a deeper understanding of global politics and how the
United States decision to leave the Paris Agreement will financially impact third world
countries.

interviews, primary source data). Research in this context means investigating a topic in
depth using credible sources.

For some topic suggestions, you might want to browse the website of a reputable news organization or review some political blogs you follow.
Identify at least two news articles on your topic located using the South University Online Library and/or reputable news outlets. Make sure that the articles you choose present at least two different accounts of the values that should be considered in addressing the issue and include information and facts that you can use to develop your arguments and analysis. If you cannot locate two news articles on your topic, or if all of the articles share the same perspective, you should choose another topic. You should cite the two articles using correct APA citation.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
