Logan created an attachment for slingshots to improve grip and aim. He added a hook through the slingshot pouch to prevent slipping. This allowed for a better grip when pulling back and aiming. Testing showed the attachment was successful in improving grip without hindering shooting. Logan enjoyed making the slingshot easier to use and looks forward to others enjoying it as well.

2. Problem
• The problem was having the part of the
slingshot you pull back slip out of your
fingers.
3. Why Did I Choose This Subject
• I choose this subject because I hate
slingshots.
• With my model I made it so that the
slingshot would work better and I would
enjoy them more.
4. What I Enjoyed Most
• I enjoyed making the slingshot so it
wouldnt slip from my fingers.
• I am also looking forward to seeing the joy
on peoples faces when they shoot the
slingshot with my attachment.
5. Procedures
• Made a hole in the pouch.
• Put the hook through the pouch.
• Bend the hook downward so that it
wouldn't be pokeing out.
• Hammered the point of the screw so that it
would be much safer.
6. Problems Encountered
• The slingshot was hard to shoot in the
begining, but after I got a technique down
it shot a lot better.
• It was also difficult to find a way to position
the hook so it wouldnt be in the way.
7. Results• The device I made was a success. I was
able to get a better grip and pull it back
better.
• The hook didn't add much to the slingshot
but made a huge difference.
• It was not only better for pulling it back,
but it was better to aim with as well.
8. What I Learned
• I learned that some slingshots are very
cheap.
• How to get the angle of the slingshot right
to get a accurate shot.
• How far to stretch the slingshot back to fire
it a certain distance.
9. Things I Would Do Differently
• What I would do differently is making the
way I put the hook through the leather
sling different.
• Try to make a way so the hook wouldn't
affect the position of the projectile.
10. The Most Challenging Part Of My
Project
• The most challenging part of the project
was getting the projectile in the right place
so I could shoot it well.
• It was also a challeng getting the hook so
it wouldn't interfere with the projectile.
11. Acknowledgments
• I would like to thank my dad for getting me
the supplies I needed for this project
• I would also like to thank the websites I
used for the information for this project.
