Leasehold Forestry Development
• Weeding and Plantation – major
activities
• Users produce multipurpose species
in Nursery : high fodder values
• Greenery coverage changed by:
• up to 25% increased in 38% LFUGs
• 26%-50% increased in 23% LFUGs
• more than 50% in 15% LFUGs
• further degraded in 11% of LFUGs
• no change in 13% of LFUGs

Livestock Development
• Goat Herd size increased by 2 goats/HH on average i.e. from
average 3 to 5 (max. shifted from 12 to 17 per HH)
• Contribution of livestock products in household income
• Each HH sold 2 goats last year at average rate of Rs. 5700/-
