LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mr Chaitanya Parikh. As a lecturer and course
convenor at ANU, I have had the pleasure of having Chaitanya as a student and it is my belief that he would
be an excellent candidate for employment.
I first taught Chaitanya in INFS7007 Information Systems Analysis & Modelling during Semester 1 2016.
Throughout the semester, his academic performance clearly positioned him at the High Distinction level,
with all the numerous pieces of continual assessment completed at a level of excellence well above most
others in his cohort. This excellent performance was not limited solely to the course I convened, with
consistent high performance across the courses he studied in his time here.
I supervised Chaitanya in a MMIB8001 Applied Topics in Business Studies research project where he
conducted a thorough review of Blockchain applications and ultimately proposed a new application that
utilises Blockchains in a novel way. In the INFS8201 Industry Research Project course, he undertook a
research project with SAP and received outstanding praise for the work performed. Both courses were
competed to a High Distinction level, with excellent critical analysis and writing skills being demonstrated.
Chaitanya has a strong work and study ethic. He always arrived at class well prepared and asked insightful
questions that demonstrate a high-level understanding of information systems theory and its application to
business contexts. His ability to self-organise and work independently led to excellent academic results
across his courses. He has well developed communication skills and has no difficulty in expressing his
opinion in an intelligent and tactful manner. He also accepts criticism gracefully and is motivated to improve
his skills through further self-study. He also brought an air of joy to the classroom, through his cheerful
attitude and warmth of interaction with his peers.
Chaitanya was a pleasure to educate and have in my classes, and I am confident he will continue to excel
in his choice of future career.
