I have personally known Carly Newsome for 13 years. She started as a gymnast at Ace Gymnastics
when she was three years old. Carly worked hard for many years as a recreational gymnast. Due
to her physical ability and strong work ethic Carly was asked to join the prestigious competitive
team. Being a member of the competitive team requires the gymnasts to work out 20 hours per
week. The workouts were hard and grueling and required a strong mind, body and soul in order to
endure the work out drills. Carly did this with a positive attitude and without complaining. She
showed strong leadership skills among her team members and was held in high esteem by her
teammates. Carly was trustworthy and responsible and as a result of this she was often appointed
as the leader for stretching and running drills. Carly was awarded the “Coaches Pick Award” by
her coaches because of her integrity, positive attitude, leadership abilities and her commitment to
gymnastics. Carly successfully competed and completed all the way to level 8. At this level Carly
was injured, despite her best efforts she was unable to compete at this level of gymnastics.
Ace Gymnastics lost an amazing competitive gymnast. However, without hesitation I hired Carly
as a gymnastics coach. Her duties include coaching Recreational Gymnasts from level 1-3, hosting
birthday parties and filling in for other coaches when needed. Carly is very punctual and has a
perfect attendance record. I can always count on Carly to fill in for time slots when needed. Carly
relates well to her students as well as their parents. She is a team player and has demonstrated
strong problem solving skills. Carly has shown responsibility and maturity far beyond her years.
She has proven herself to be very hard working.
I would highly recommend Carly for any position that she is applying for. Carly would truly be an
asset and a capable employee to any company.
