My name is Valeria Romero, Assistant Principal of Toro Canyon Middle School. I am writing
this letter of recommendation in support of Mr. Justin Berzon as he seeks an administration
position with your organization. I have worked with Mr. Berzon at Toro Canyon Middle School
where he has served as a 7th
and 8th
grade Science teacher since 2011. Aside from teacher, Mr.
Berzon has served his school community in many other capacities for example; organizing and
hosting the school eighth grade promotion ceremony, serving as our site T3 or technology lead,
ASB advisor for going on two years, advisor of numerous clubs including Renaissance, as well
as staff developer for Project Prototype for his second year in a row. For his contributions to his
school community through these roles and others he has been recognized as teacher of the year
for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school year. Mr. Berzon has also received training in and has
successfully implemented technology in the classroom, specifically the use of student iPads in
the classroom.
Aside from his training and contributions, Mr. Berzon has always conducted himself and his
class in a highly professional manner. His classroom management is proactive, supportive of
student needs and fair. I give my wholehearted support to Mr. Justin Berzon as he seeks
employment with your organization. I know he will be a great asset to any school community he
is a part of.
