Letter of intent teaching position

NERISSA L. LOSARIA
Assistant School Superintendent
School Division Superintendent
Caloocan City
Dear Madam,
I am writing this Letter of Intent to your good office to express my strongest desire to
apply for the position of TEACHER I. I am a beneficiary of “Sa ‘Pinas Ikaw ang Mam/
Sir” (SPIMS). I was an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) for ten (10) years who had
worked in Electronics Company in Taiwan for five (5) years and in a Manufacturing
Company in South Korea for another five (5) years.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications
Engineering and a Unit Earner of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Major
in Mathematics. I passed the Licensure Examination for Teacher (LPT) last December
2018.
Working away from your family is such a difficult thing to bear for a mother, that
same reason motivated me to give up my OFW stint and seek for a teaching career
locally. If given the chance, I will be able to put my learning in practice and be a part
of the noble profession of mentoring the young minds of this this country.
Moreover, such move would spare me from the emotional burden of leaving my
family just to make a living.
I shall be very glad to come for an interview and hope to hear from you at your most
convenient time.
Yours sincerely,
Helen D. Sanchez
